I will be posting 16 images so Please wait until all are uploaded before commenting, thank you.
Here is where you can have fun and experiment…push those boundaries…play outside the box…try something new! Or not! Your choice!
You have 30 minutes to make your choice and choose your materials.
For the next two hours, just go for it! Use any medium or style – it’s up to you……then STOP! scan or photograph your work and post it in your own new thread with your title, beginning with WDE, plus date, plus title.
Use
WIP for any work in progress at the 2 hour mark, and
MI for multiple images if other works are to be added before the following Tuesday.
When you introduce your work, please add a description of size, medium, support (paper, canvas etc) and time taken.
If your work is digital, we'd appreciate a description of whether it's freehand drawing/painting, manipulated image or done using the filters available in some programs - you could also say which program you've used.
It’s fun for all to participate at the same time but not always possible! Please join in whenever you can – you have a whole week to participate - until the next WDE starts (usually Friday). If you finish a piece after that time, we now run a 'Catch-up' thread in the forum each month where you can post
any WDE not completed in its allotted week .... it's a sticky near the top of the forum page.
** Please be aware that many people join us each week, so do check pages 2 and 3 also!**
Be sure to view and comment on people’s work if you are able … we understand that it’s not always possible to comment on everyone’s work…just do the best you can. We all like feedback, don’t we?
Critiquing is not allowed, unless the poster requests it.
It is assumed in AMAE that posters appreciate the comments, and with so much posting and commenting going on all at once, making thank-you posts is unnecessary BUT, if you must, PLEASE keep all your ‘thank you’ messages in one post in your thread wherever possible.
PLEASE refrain from using the quote button on a post with the image in it. There is no need for the image to be posted again…it clogs up the thread, making it take longer to open. It’s much easier to use the reply button and if you want to quote someone, copy and paste from their message below the reply box.
