Congratulations Dave! Bellows is considered one of America's best artists. He left the Midwest for the bright lights of New York where he produced some stunning city-scapes and scenes of people from bathers to boxers. After some success and marriage, he spent more time painting landscapes and seascapes in New England. A member of the "Ash Can School", he died in his forties of a ruptured appendix.
