A new direction in my work.

Untitled 02, Acrylic on Canvas, 16"x20".

Untitled 01, Acrylic on Canvas, 16"x20".

Both pieces will be available at a show I am having in November. Any and all comments are welcome. BTW it feels great to be creating work again.

Re: A new direction in my work.

I think both of these are quite wonderful - especially the colour palette. And they are very much related to each other while being independently strong. Will look forward to seeing more!

Re: A new direction in my work.

Reminds me of an aerial view of city. I went to your website as well. Very nice work. How did you manage the texture on your vector drawings. Were they treated afterward?
It took a while for the images to load to larger versions, maybe a little optimization might help. Nice web site

Re: A new direction in my work.

PushingPixels your're right, it does take to long. I resized all of my original work to the same size (about 700px) , I should have reduced the images by percentage. Yes they were created in Inkscape and treated in photoshop.
