Hails from Canada
WIA TGIF Oct 15/10

Yay! It's Friday!!!

Yay!! I found the files I thought I lost!!

Wanna good laugh? So it was an Excel file with 20 worksheets (each worksheet is a class) with students listed on each page as signed up, how they paid, email addresses, etc. I lost all but one page!!! Over 175 students all together, and I only had 8 of them listed?!! Yes, I freaked out!! Yes, I was SUPER stressed!! And yes, I could rebuild the lists, by going through my website shopping cart, through my email, through my Paypal account. ARGH!!!! So at 1:30am this morning, I finally managed to print off all the invoices, then got all the names manually written into their respective classes and was going to tackle the whole who paid what, who owes what, etc. I looked at the last page left from the Excel file, and started clicking different things, what could it hurt right? Turns out I'd 'hidden' all the tabs and all the files were there the whole time!! ARGH! LOL!! So trauma averted with just a minor loss of sleep. Too funny!!

Anyway!! Hope you all are enjoying your day and looking forward to a good weekend!! I'm in bead show mode, so busy busy! But will try to stop by later this weekend!

Hails from United Kingdom
Re: WIA TGIF Oct 15/10

Yay for Friday from me too, it has been a long week. Work has been a bit blah, but I got most of my stuff done. Rehearsal was passable, I had to go and fetch a load of flats, David was brilliant and shifted them all from the store to the hall. So they should be able to get on and build the rest of the set. I'll probably be called on to do a bit of painting in the last week, that's OK.

Leon is all set to meet his best friend Marley tomorrow, it will probably be the last time they come to the coast this year as the caravan site closes for the winter soon. We should still be able to have some walks if we meet halfway so they won't be separated all winter.

Barrie, what a relief that the data wasn't lost. Now you can look forwards to a productive and efficient weekend. I've got lots of work to do as well as lines, it's not going to be very relaxing here. Too many people needing tax returns completing, I need to start saying no. But it's hard when they are friends.

Hope everyone else is looking forwards to fun weekends.
