Looks like you are back on track with these Steve,I like the touch of colour with third one... I hope this surgery is getting things fixed it's probably been holding you back bit.

Steve, we're glad to have YOU back! And you with your drawings too, no less. What I like best about these is how you have (so very successfully) conveyed the youthfulness of the sitter. Even in your very sketchy lines, she seems to have come alive on these pages.

Nice work Steve, especially the first one which very simply says it all. Hope you are recoving well, 'rounds of surgery' doesnt sound great.

I appreciate your thoughts and comments. You might say my year started on with a bang! I have been dealing with the consequences of a Kenworth vs. a car, (the Kenworth won). Anyway it has been a challenge to get back to drawing but I think that art is therapy. I have been going small, and trying a “less is more” philosophy when I can get to life drawing between all the surgeries.
