more meerkat pics - attacking the keeper

if you've read the september NG about the meerkats --

this was taken at the zoo here. the keeper said that they can't stay in the enclosure for too long, simply because they lose their fear quickly..

as you can tell by these pics at feeding time...

Very nice pics. These little guys are soooooo delightful. Kids just love them. I rarely leave my zoo without a few photos of them. There's one that I swear actually poses for me every time!
