Project Discussion: Christmas Still Life Project
A new project has been announced in the WetCanvas! project system!
Title: Christmas Still Life Project
Project Leader: madmum
Relative Difficulty: Irrelevant
Type Restrictions: Any Type
Medium: Any Medium
Subject: Still Life
Days open for signups: Always
Maximum participants allowed: Unlimited
Description:
Create a sparkling work of art to display every Christmas, and hand down to your children and grandchildren as a unique heirloom!!! Open to everybody using any medium (PLEASE NO PHOTOGRAPHY OR DIGITAL ART) The only rule is that you must use one of the reference images provided.
Sign up, choose your image (or do them all!) and start creating!

i just signed up, but there is no link to any reference photos, the ones that we chose from Em's set. (this is my first project so there may be something i'm missing). Tahnks for getting this going.

I posted a link to this in the Cafe Guerbois forum, so more poeple could join in, and somebody has already kicked up a fuss about it being a "Christmas" project! Aaaaaaaaaaargh! I just can't win!!

Those people who want to destroy and delete any reference to Christmas are very nasty individuals. If they don't want to participate, there are several hundred other projects they can do. Many of us still want to celebrate Christmas as a Christian holiday.
Just ignore them.
Right now, it seems as if some nasty bug has bitten people in the Cafe. There are all sorts of little cat fights going on.
Bah, humbug, to them all!
Your project is a good idea and sounds like fun. I've already signed up.

I just find it sad. I never try to stop any other religions celebrating their own festivals. At least I know it's welcome in here
