Great piece, David! A nice testament to an appropriate limited palette for the subject.

The remarkable thing about the northern desert is that it is simultaneously desolate and breathtakingly beautiful, plus the whole thing is illuminated by that white, pure light. You have caught it in this one.

The representation of bright light is superb. The limited palette goes well with the sparse subjectmatter.

Exquisite colors and light.
Looking at your painting, it is like the flight of a bird.
I like how you placed the sky very high in the composition, great 3D effect.

This type of subject is of interest to me lately and I really like how you handled it and what you have done with the limited palette.

Awesome, love the reflected light in the shadows and the blur of the horizon really gives it that distant appearance.
Nice use of a limited pallet.
