Post Small Monkey (second animal attempt!)

Hi,
This is the second time that I have tried drawing an animal. It's 9x9 Alfacolor Pastel....I just did it today (saturday) in about 5 hours. I think I know what is wrong with it from the scan..the right cheek is a little too red? and the right ear...a little too long? Let me know ok? I don't have fixative on it, so I can tweek it alittle.
Thanks.

Ohju,
You did really well with this one. His expression is great and the texture of the fur and his eyes is well done. I do agree that his right cheek is a little too red and his ear is a little bit long, but other than that I really like this, you should frame this one and hang it up so everybody can see it.What type of paper did you use?

oh sorry I didn't put that in. It's blue-ish grey canson paper. Thanks so much! I think I will keep doing animals now and then. It makes me happy to see that I can do more than just people. The reference photo is posted in the critiques....with my other post of this. I think i will get it tweeked.
Thanks animal.

Your little monkey is great!
the only suggestion I might make is his hand looks a bit human and fingers long but maybe thats the way they are
i love your technique

best

thanks leila,
in the reference photo (in critiques) his hands seemed a little boney, since he is very young, might be that they are developed yet?
thanks for looking in.
