O.K. Here's my effort. Not the most sophisticated, but interesting and fun to do.

I used my scanner software. First I cropped it. Then I used the
Effects Palette... Sharpen
" Watercolor 1
" Ripple 1
" Color Balance
" Sharpen
" Ripple 2
Crop; Rotate 90; Focus +1; Frame; Resize

Here's the original


Here's what I achieved.

It looks quite glamorous, Maria...The reds in the center are strikingly beautiful and lead the eye right into the depths of the image. You did great job playing with those manipulations. I like the idea that didn't stop with one, but rather applied several. GOOD Thinking!
