WDE Aug 20 Colorful Facades in Montreal & a Fawn

I had a very busy Saturday, so Sunday I grabbed some studio time!

It's true, Montreal has some cute facades. But when you step in to Beth-world, all things get a little ...... shall we say..... bright?

I'll break you in slowly, with the 2 hour shot. This is black Golden Fluid Acrylic painted onto 140# cold press watercolor paper. 8" x 10" (big for me)



Then, approximately 3.5 additional hours of watercolor. Now, it looks like it belongs in Beth-ville, doesn't it?



Then, 15 minutes, waiting for dinner to come out of the oven.... 4" x 6" watercolor. (gouache spots)



I hope to get around to comment through the week. I am so busy at work that my head is spinning. Thanks for looking.

I was hoping you'd select those facades!!! LOL, I actually added them in thinking of you. I just LOVE Beth-ville!!!!! Especial the colour!!!! Very whimsical. The fawn is adorable, I can't believe you accomplished that in 15 minutes!! Bravo!

Nice job on both Beth the colors on your hoses reminds me Portobello road London in the late 60 and San Francisco I like both places

that's a really nice storybook rendering of the street facade....once again I'm waiting for the characters to appear. The fawn is a nice contrast.
