mushrooms

Reference the mushrooms, and the darning attachment, I wonder how many folk still darn their socks. I had to repair all our "holy" socks when I was a kid, but don't think today's folk bother, at least not here. Apart from that, lovely pics, could just go a portion with some nice smoked bacon! Thamks for showing.

What a thing for a memory.... cotton socks darned with cotton thread, and if you weren't a good "darner," the result was blisters on the heel from the darn rubbing! Apparently my mother wasn't good at it, I do remember the blisters...

So did my mother I tried to darn a pair of long lyle stockings in my teens (remember garter belts?), but it was not a success
