This is a painting I did on site at Ghost Ranch, New Mexico last summer. I've had trouble deciding whether or not its finished what do you think?

I would like more warm colour in the sky, or less clouds but thats just how I see it.Do like the feel of it.

I really like the style you painted this with..and on location! Would love to see more of your work.

Cover the sky...and look at the rest of the painting....then vice versa. You will see that you have two different color schemes competing for attention. I would add more warmth to the sky for balance...but you may decide on another course. Because of the warm/cool battle, its difficult to know if the cloud movement is competing also.
Personally, I like all the movement!

Shaver, I have seen the Ghost Ranch, and painted it myself in watercolor. What a great place! I like the vibration of your purples amongst the oranges; you could even add more! imo Also, the very dark black/greens in the foreground appeal to me, and I could like them coming up even further into the painting. But, it really is beautiful as is. ---Jane
