Cool Introducing me!!

Hi everyone. I am new to WC and hope I am in the right place to introduce myself. I have worked in stained glass for quite awhile and about to try flamework. I am confident that I will at least be able to make spacers if nothing else. I now design and sell jewelry using beads that some of you have made. I enjoy this so much and regret that I didn't start years ago. I will be watching for tips and inspiration. You are a very generous with your expertise. Glass is such a special medium and it's nice there's such a big community out there of like interest. Am I being too wordy. Go ahead, I can take it. I'll be looking for critiques in the future.

When my DH ets home from him trip, I'm going to have him take some digital pics and hope I can post them. Nickname is a town in Arizona. Thought it was cute and named my sweet bird after it, then took it for myself since he's no longer with me. I think I corresponded with you briefly about visiting. I also have a house in Stafford Springs, CT and I think you are fairly close by. Am I remembering that right? By the way, love your work.

I have a total Hot Head set up and a great place to set up. It's too hot in Florida to work in front of a torch right now and I'll wait 'til it gets a little cooler and light up! Area has no AC. I just found out about Penland school and K. Logan will be instructing in the spring. I'd have to go on a work study program to afford it. Do you think that's the way to do since next summer when I go up north I have an old instructor who is now teaching lampwork. But I want to learn alot!

Cool

Thank you all for your warm welcome. I know this is the place to be and you're all just great. Now I have to clean the house - yes it's 9:00 at night - since my DH is getting in after midnight and every room is strewn with my stuff. Getting ready for my first large sales event. If anyone is in the area (I know some of you are from Florida), come on down to the Seafood Festival in Apalachicola, FL the first weekend in November. And say "HI"! Just look for Island Beads & Glass.
