Hi, I hope its OK to cross post this here. I did this for this week's Weekly Drawing Thread in the D&S Forum and I'd appreciate some C&C here too.
This is small, just 5 X4 approx. It's mainly pastel pencils (Derwent) with some Sennelier softs as an underpainting on Sennelier La Carte. It took about 2.5 hours and it was fun to do. Thanks for looking.

Very nice. The eye has that elusive liquid quality that can be very hard to capture. Very well done.

Yes wonderful, like to see what it would look like with the eye off centre. Probably just me - like things a bit odd or uneven. beautiful picture. huni

That's a good point Huni. I usually dont make the focal point dead center either, The ref photo had the eye a little bit higher than centre but I didn't make my drawing as long. Thanks!
