Ana - WIP

Ana - another Portuguese woman. Reference is from the same photographer and is used with permission. This is 9 x 11 graphite on mellotex and as promised another straw hat. Ana is the keeper of much unwritten cultural wisdom for her small village (per the photographer).

Here's the initial line drawing. Eyes are pretty well hidden, that should make it easier for me (and for Michael ).

Still finishing Candace up but wanted to get a jump on this one, maybe I should do two completely different drawings at once this time, eh?

NOW if that was me...... one would probably find a *miss=placed* wrinkle.... one on the WRONG DRAWING!! ha ha ha ha
Couldn't be accused of *photo shopping*, then!!!!

Oh man!!! Well I spent time this weekend finishing a *bridal hanky* [tatted the outer edge... 3 rows worth which was about 16 hours of work].
And then the lady of the couple that have befriended me since I moved here, in Jan. 2012, just learned 2 nights ago, about midnight that her youngest brother ~ age 59 passed away with a heart attack. So she is just reeling. NO DOUBT! So... be listening to her....

But I'm still moving!!! does that count?

About 4-5 years ago I used to work on 6 drawings at once. Got so much more done because as one began to bore me I worked on another one. Now I just ....... don't draw and take longer breaks. After Patrick I may just begin with that approach again.

Carry on working on Ana . Then you won't get Candace finished before I finish Pat.
