Study of a young girl

Hi everyone,
I made this drawing from a reference i found online that i really liked. I thought i would start right in with a Conte pencil on pastel paper,trying to keep things loose and sketchy.

NIcely done! Hope we'll see more work from you ! YOu could toss some white chalk on there for a few key highlights as well ( since it's toned paper - but fine just the same!!)

It has a nice mood to it! I like the use of soft edges, and the more focused range of values in her face helps hold attention in that area.
