Sunset and Dark Skies

A couple quick small ones.
Sunset 5x7 studio canvas

Dark Skies
5x5 studio canvas. Both done with 1/2 inch flat brush

Sorry, they're both blurry.

Any comments appreciated.

Re: Sunset and Dark Skies

Did you like using the one brush for both? Too bad the photo is kind of blurry maybe next time you could post a clearer picture of your work.

Nice color .Kind of an abstract feel to them. I agree a clearer picture would be helpful

Re: Sunset and Dark Skies

Thanks.

I've just been using one brush for alot of my stuff that's kindof abstract like this, but generally it's a filbert.

I almost think I do better at small sizes like this, less canvas to mess up

But I took the pics with them laying flat and the light was kindof low so my auto focus doesn't work too hot.
Didn't really lose much detail, they're just a bit softer in these pics. The bottom one is actually probably a little large here than IRL.
(yeah, the bottom one is 5x5 irl but on this monitor it is 10x10 inches.)

I changed the print size, hopefully it will appear smaller... Can't seem to edit first posts eh?
OK, this should be about exact rl size. I think it also helps get rid of the blur, this looks alot closer.
