Winter Fields 2010

After I did a painting in pastel on location I did this at home from memory of the feeling of the day.

Oil on birch panel 10x14

I really enjoy the palette in this piece. Yellow and blue are a great combo!

Nice layers of field strips had an effect of 3 dimensional view. Great artwork!

Re: Winter Fields 2010

like the colors-seems abstract-might want more contrast in the foreground to bring it forward a bit more-just a thought

Re: Winter Fields 2010

like the colors, has an abstract quality to it, but might want more contrast in the foreground especially as it might add some additional depth and interest, but just a thought
