another color practice, quite a few ressemblance mistakes but anyways my goal is to improve my color and lightning understanding

Wow it looks like that time you are spending with your mentor is really paying off. I particularly like the the third one. The lighting on the side of the face is very well done.

yes, hes giving me much inspiration and good tricks that makes me so much more eager to paint! hes always there when i have questions too, but the most important is, hard work :P

This is great work. You should give oils a try, with your style oils would be right up your alley. Acrylics are great and these are good but I think oils would be a nice experiment for you.
