WDE Jan8/ Peacock & imagination
Thanks for the images Lin. I sat at my computer last night and worked on this peacock in digital vector design using CorelDraw. It really was fun doing this and when you said to use our imaginations I felt free'd up to play even more.
Comments are most welcome.
And further with these shapes
Thanks for looking.

Re: WDE Jan8/ Peacock & imagination
Carol Lee - I would be glad to maybe lay out the steps visually in a pdf file of a few pages. I could put something together and make it available I guess. I don't think this can be done in vector format in photoshop but I may be wrong. I think others usually do vector files with MACs and adobe Illustrator. I have a PC and got accustomed to CorelDRAW when I was working as a graphic artist/illustrator. However I never had the time to play with vectors like this and now I do have time . I think it is good for my brain. However CorelDRAW is a pretty expensive program to buy and it takes time to learn. painter is much less expensive and has a faster learning curve and lots of online tutorials. But Painter is not a vector program. Maybe there are some cheaper vector software programs?
Thanks Robert. Right. No mess. Just really sore shoulders and tight back from concentrating and ditzing around with bits. And tired eyes. Really tired eyes.
Thanks Crowie. You always say nice things.
Kate - I appreciate your words. Thank you.

Re: WDE Jan8/ Peacock & imagination
These are super Mary Jane - I really like them very much! Lovely work.
******
We have a sub forum here - the Hall of Fame, top of main page - where quite a few WDE members have added demos of particular interest.
I'd be delighted if you could do a demo of this for the forum.{  - me beaming at the idea!!!}
It just needs screen captures and text to upload as normal to a thread, which I then copy to the Hall of Fame so it can be easily found.
I use PSP8 which does have vector capability and I know quite a few others do also.
I have an old version of CorelDraw4 - way back to about '97?
