JANUARY 2010: Plant Parade project

Welcome to a new year and a new beginning, January, with new project!
Winter white is the color in vogue right now from the snowflakes of last week's Christmas decorations to real snow most of us are seeing, so let's focus on white flowers. Any size, any medium or combination thereof goes.

NO REVEAL UNTIL THE 25TH OF THE MONTH

Most images are from our Reference Image Library and the rest are mine.

We hope you can join in the fun and see how many nuances of color you can find within white flowers or plants!

Here's one of my white cyclamen photos.

White, it is!! Hmmm, have lots of thoughts! I have never painted a white flower before so it ought to be fun and a challenge!

Oh, lovely!!!!!!! Great photos. I'm away on holiday most of January (it's our long Summer holiday break here in the Southern Hemisphere) but I love these and will try to do at least one of them this month.

Yes, Maureen, that is one of my photos I'd be glad to send it to you via email and/or upload it into the RIL. That scabious is so lovely and lacy.
