Re: Show Us Your Favorite Watermedia Stuff!

Oh, that is awful Linda. . . I had not read before about your art supplies being stolen. Too bad eBay was not willing to be helpful. My experience with online services have been like that also (about five years ago Yahoo locked me out of my account with no explanation and would not unlock it nor respond to explain WHY it had been locked, resulting in PayPal who refusing to release to me the funds I had in my account because that Yahoo email address that I was locked out of was the one hooked to the account)! UGH.

I hope you have been able to replace some of your supplies!

As for this thread, it says to show your favorite Watermedia stuff. . . and for me so far my fav watermedia stuff is my Koi 18 color pan wc field box that a friend at work gave me.

Cool Re: Show Us Your Favorite Watermedia Stuff!

Lessee--
I have Pentel tubes, Caran d'Ache Neos II, Crayola W/S Oil Pastels, and Alphacolor Water Crayons, along with a bunch of WC pencils of various types. Oh, and I just picked up a Cotman Field kit. But my favorite is this:

It's tiny, fits in my shirt pocket, and I need not worry about whether I need Ultramarine, Thalo, Delft or Mountain Blue.

Rainy, there is a thread somewhere on WetCanvas, I'll have to look for it. In the meantime, I'll share my space....this is from a few months ago (it's not quite that neat right now) - I also have a 40" mat cutter on that white drawing table now too . I have one side for watercolor, and the other for acrylic/mixed media...

Dontcha just love that view of the block wall?

I found a couple old threads in Studio Tip & Framing forum..

http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=118859

http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13479

for some reason I can't find the one I *know* I posted in ...we haven't even lived in that house for 5-6 years...

I'm pretty sure most of the different forums will have similar threads... it's fun to see others' workspace...

A lovely room, Mary Lou. . . and the brick wall. . . hey, that gives you privacy

Love how you have the two separate work areas and looks like you have wonderful lighting both the natural kind from the window and that nice track lighting for the night. Thanks for sharing

Re: Show Us Your Favorite Watermedia Stuff!

Rainy- that is a really pretty set! I had bought several of them, mainly to have a little gift for friends, and that is another thing that was taken- all the new ones that is, not the one I had opened and used. Oh, I had trouble with a paypal account going to an email address I no longer had, and lost all the money in that account! I really hate paypal...it is a pain in the behind!

Rich- that may be the smallest set I have ever seen! It is cute, love that it fits in your shirt! Yep, sometimes having 'no decisions' is the best thing!

Mary Lou- that is indeed a lovely room!! And so organized- I love all the table space!
