WDE Nov.13-Shop Till Ya Drop
That was a great selection of photos from which to choose..Thanks, Maureen!
I had to fight off a little trepidation to finally pick the Oxford shoppers. But, as it turned out, I'm glad I pushed myself and did this one. It was a lot of fun.
This is oil on 5x7 hardboard. I first used black gesso with a touch of pthalo blue thrown in to make it darker.
C&C welcome. Thanks for looking! 
Done somewhere around 2 hrs. My time was broken up.

wow! here's a good lesson on how to simplify! brilliant crop... love how you narrowed the focus down not only with the crop but the strong lighting too! Bravo!

This is so small and yet the image it conveys is huge!
These figures are so full of purpose - each in his/her own world but combining to make a super painting.
You're a master at conveying a lot with a little!!!

An amazing piece, Deano! I spent quite some time looking your painting over and while I marveled at the body language and movement, I was especially impressed with the faces. The features are barely there, but they work so well. I have tried but failed to achieve this. I may be back for more studying. Hope to see more of these!
