Reminder: You now just need to contact your partner and get a reference photo to them. You can do this via a jpg image, emailed. I believe it can be done by PM if you don't want to use your home email. Or, a link to a hosted image on the net (via a photo hosting site, ie: Flickr, Pbase, Photobucket, Picasa, etc.) can be sent to you partner, in lieu of an attachment.
Hopefully I did not pair any past partners.
You can post Works in Progress here and comments can be made as well.
And the Games Begin!!!!
Enjoy; Jocelyn

Wonderful! Thanks so much Jocelyn for taking the time to do this, its appreciated.
And I get a local artist! I think that must be a first here. I'll get this moving tonight by sending some photos to Yakov.

Thanks, Jocelyn, for setting this up! I'm looking forward to it!
I'm thrilled I caught it before the registration closed. Now, to find a picture that will work. That's the hard part!! LOL

Thanks for setting this up Jocelyn, I've feeling it's going to be fun.
Tali OMG if anyone asked me which painter has had the most impact on me at WC I would say it's you. I still use your face road map and the cell too.
It's a pleasure to be be paired with you

I am really excited about this - although after checking out my partner's portrait work I think I am the one who is getting the best end of this deal!
I will do my best

What a sweet compliment! But you can't fool me! I know my portrait will be awesome, I saw your paintings. They are beautiful. How would you prefer we exchange photos?

Re: 2009-The Sixth Annual Portrait Swap Pairings and WIP Thread!!!
You all are welcome. No, I have no idea who knows who lol! But, I did do this differently this year, I tried to pair people who's work differed a bit as well as decided that shipping Can be expensive, so I tried to take that into consideration, after I had a couple people let me know how much their shipping was in yrs past. I did it not by making little name tags and letting the kids pull them, but I went through the work of manually pairing people, partially random, but also with some consideration for convenience and interest :-)
Have fun!!!
Jocelyn

I'm looking forward to watching this progress! It's always a great experience!
This is the first year in many that I'm not participating - other than being in the audience and a supporter! Looking forward to seeing the portraits start!

wow, I don't know what to say, except that now I feel totally under pressure---what if I decided to do a Picasso? (this is where I need a nervous looking smilie)
I sent you a photo--looking forward to seeing yours.
