Beautiful pics, Mary! I went for the whitetail in your backyard.

This is acrylic on 5x7 hardboard. I first painted the whole thing in standard acrylic. I felt the whole thing was way too dark. I reworked it with Golden Open Acrylics and widened the value range. It at least feels more sunny now.

Love this painting. You always do such a great job. We have so many of them and they don't pay much attention to us anymore. I never get tired of seeing them though. I want to do her too and hope I can do 1/2 as well as you have done. Thanks so much for joining in.

Beautifully done. The background works well against the deer. I wish I could paint acrylics like that!

You have really caught that instant when they lift their head to see what has alerted them. Love how you have made it look like it is in front of a sunlit clearing in the woods.
