'Time Out' x - post Scratchboard

Hello to all in the A&W forum , I have decided to post my most recent piece here as I have not posted in this forum in a long time...I am still lurking, just spending a bit more time scratching than drawing recently...Here is my most recent and a link to the wip in the scratch board forum for anyone who is interested...thank you for looking This is 20 x 12 ", Ess Dee brand, mainly done with scalpel, needle...and some fiberglass brush...

Lovely detail. Did you glaze over it with a sepia wash to get the toned color?

Cheers Jo - this one has taken me several weeks to do...I have no idea how long I spent on it in total as I would do several hours in a sitting....and then not touch it for a week!

Thanks Amy - I have seen some of your work - I especially like your white charcoal on black - beautiful stuff! I didn't use a wash however I used black ink (diluted) which created a brownish tone in the grass...I didn't like it initially but it kind of grew on me... I am still shy about venturing into colour!
