Just checking...are the photos from the creative commons, and are they copyright free?

Re: Photo Paint Along - October

No these were not in the creative commons. I think a couple of these had some kind of notations but none of them had a copyright posted. I searched for these just now to check on it but it appears that they have all been removed from the stream-- I went way back past the date I was there.

Re: Photo Paint Along - October

Oh, fer heaven's sake, may copyright law be repealed soon. Until then, here are a few photos I took myself; they are thoroughly, entirely, completely, utterly copyright-free, and may be used for any purpose, of any kid whatsoever, without asking for any permission:

House and garden, near Soesterberg, The Netherlands:

Autumn in the Netherlands:

Protea flower head, South Africa:

Swan reflected, South Africa:

I'll look around in my collection to see if I can find any more. Unfortunately all from South Africa, where I live, or the Netherlands, where I spent two years around 2000. So not as much variety, I fear!

Re: Photo Paint Along - October

Sandra this looks like it is done on sand stone or something. What do you mean by rendering on water? Wetting the page thouroghly first?
