Re: Different Strokes: June 2009

Hi All:

Thank you for your nice comments, and Maureen, thanks for the advice and comment re: splotchiness. I see someone started a thread on that subject (attaining "smoothness"), and it seems to be on everyone's mind with acrylics. It will be fun to do some experiments, just to see how splotchiness can be - well, fixed! In the meantime, just call me "Ol' Splotchy"!

LavenderFrost - Wow, your closeup looks great!! I would love to do that kind of detail, with such confident strokes! You did the feathers with such ease.

Will be away from WetCanvas until after the weekend, and sure hope to see more entries. C'mon, I hope everyone will post their pieces, even if "not finished" or whatever. It is so much fun to see all the different approaches to the challenge each month, and I learn so much from all of you!!

Thanks, Cathy

I had intended to do this months different strokes, but well - where did the month of June go? Love all the work that is posted and much applause to you all. Very excellent work. And Maureen, combining them both - so creative & well done!
