Macaws FINISHED
Hi guys It has been a while. Did ya miss me?
Hope you don't mind suffering through yet another WIP. They keep me motivated and accountable to you guys.
I know you will recognize this RIL image of the macaws by dcannatella that debro drew recently. Well thought I would have a go at it.
It will be about 30X30 inches when done and of course I am using FC Polys on Stonehenge paper.

Re: Macaws WIP
Speechless already! Nothing to suffer through here, lots to learn from however.
Gorgeous right from the get go!

Re: Macaws WIP
It reminds me of the Presidents Award in the UKCPS for this year - tho yours is, to me, far superior...

Re: Macaws WIP
Very nice start I'm curious, did you underpaint the red with yellow to make the color so rich?
