WDE Sep 4 Rock n Roller

hi all

back from holidays! i haven't drawn any thing in 3 weeks... this felt good! took about 2 hours. think i worked on it about 1/2 hour too long. conte is easily overworked.

conte and charcoal on 9 X 12 Strathmore black Artagain paper.

This is great. The formin gof the body, the pose and the likeness are excellent. The black background is ideal for this sort of composition. I like how the guitar disappears into the dark. It's like that in a dark gig room too.

I must show all these works to my son when he's round again, I think he'll love them.
