This one took no time at all, my shrink says it represents "Life" hence the title... "Life"...

I am surprised that you say this took no time at all. The cross hatching looks extensive and done very well. Do you do it free hand or do you use a guide? They are very evenly done.
I think the highlight areas could be slightly smaller and if there is a transition from the dark to the highlight the effect might be even better.
