That is very nice! The details are very impressive and the babies are cute. It is hard to understand that they are considered vermin.

thank you for all the wonderful comments on my work it encourages me to keep going and learn more. The painting was done in Gouache still trying to find my favorite medium.

Great job with the wood and foliage looks so real! Outstanding! The fur on the little rascals is giving me some pause though! I think (although I haven't seen the ref.) That the fur should not be going straight up, especially when it gets close to the the ears, It should radiate out and off the face! Not sure I'm getting what I mean out there clearly enough! Its the one on the right that stands out for me not so much the little guy in the back...He looks good to me. Again I haven't seen the ref Photo so I may be all wrong if so just ignore me!
