Gary, she looks spooky and haunted. Nicely done! Very distinctive personal features too.
Today I did something a little different. I went ahead and copied a master.
Monet copy for October Pastel Spotlight
5" x 8"
Color Conte on Aquabee Bogus Recycled brown paper.
I don't know the title of the Monet original but I love it.
It's up on my sketch wall, not to be sold. I had a good day resting up. November will be very, very busy!

Moscatel, gorgeous pumpkin fading into darkness. Your paintings are inspiring.
Here's my last daily art for October - Nanowrimo starts at midnight.
Ari cat gesture
2 1/2" x 3 1/2"
Pitt Artist Pens on Borden & Riley Recycled, from life.
Thanks for all the comments on my Monet copy. Yep, gakinme and I have booth been growing and learning a lot from heavy sketching.

Re: Daily Painting 31st Oct - 6th November 2011
I love to see your cats! Great cat gesture! Cats are my favorites.
I'm still doing pumpkins. This time the background is vermillion, size about : 6x8" (15x20cm). This is suppose to look one of those white squashes/pumpkins that have green stripes. Not sure if it's a squash or pumpkin in real life. Btw, white is remarkably more difficult to handle than orange.

Some findings from the fridge. These are some vegetables from the garden this summer.
Zucchini, about the same size as before: 6x8" (15x20cm)

This is a daily painting as well. X-posted to the landscape Challenge of November. Since I can post a pic to two forums I post it here too. Oil on cotton canvas, measures about : 30x22 cm (12x9")

Moscatel, I agree the white pumpkin is a lot harder. Beautifully handled, so are the squash from your fridge. I love that misty distant blue landscape too, that's gorgeous. You're a fantastic painter!
Today I did a pumpkin too.
Pumpkin Shadow
5" x 7"
Mungyo Gallery semi-hard and hand rolled pastels
Strathmore Artagain pastel paper, dark grey
