What is "the artist way"?

I have heard about this from the other forum posts, how does it help? What does the book go into? Is it something that you should just buy? Please let me know. Thanks.

(Yeah, the title there is wrong, I really meant to enter that in the open forum, oops--bear with me, I'm new, I'll get the hang of it)

The Artist's Way is a book by Julia Cameron designed to help artisits unblock. The book is structured to help over come the mental blocks that prevent us from creating art (your definition).
The book doesn't have to be done in a group, but it might help as you can ask questions and get answers or suggestions.

I have started several times. Never finished, and I have signed up for the discussion that is to start here in September as I would like to finish it.

You mentioned a discussion starting in September, how does that work? Do you know the details? When does it start, what do you need (just the book)? Thanks for explaining it.
