Another Proudhawk post
<img src="http://www.proudhawk.com/pix/eagle.jpg">
Hi, everyone. This is a scratchboard piece I did in memory of my dad when he passed to the next life. In our culture, the eagle is considered a spirit guide or messenger to the Creator. Hence, this piece is titled, "He Guides My Father's Spirit". I hope you enjoy it but, as always, criticisms are welcomed. Be well.

proudhawk,
this isn't my personal taste in art, however, despite that i feel it's an exquisite piece. what a wonderful way to celebrate the memory of your dad! i've often thought of doing a piece of art for my mother, who passed away several years ago, but struggle with just how to do it. maybe i'm just not ready to undertake that sort of task...oh well!...someday.

Jolie,
The fact that this piece isn't the sort of thing you are normally attracted to makes your praise all the more valued. Thank you. As for doing a piece for your mom, the idea will come in its own time. When it does, I hope you find it as cathartic an experience as I did. Be well.

This is a beautiful piece of design work and I'm sure your father appreciates it, wherever he is.
