Took a little advice from everybody. I think you all had good things to say and contribute. Thank you, but is it done now? Can I rest? 15 x 21 HP Jim

lovely work! Is the grass that brown? I heard there was a bit of a drought there. *SMILE* I love the outbuildings.

When we look at a piece of art work it has to form some kind of connection to the viewer. It must evoke a memory or stir the imagination or it will fail to cause the person to return to it and examine it further. By painting some of natures hidden treasures I hope to bring the viewer back to places or times that are stored in their memories.

Thanks Rich and Beverly.....Very nice comments! And Beverly, take a good look at the far building...you might recognize it. And yes it is dry here, yards are all burnt to a crisp. Jim

I love your trees. They look very natural. And the cement blocks
look very real too. It's a very good painting.

I like this painting and the way you've added a bit of colour to the old buildings. The trees are great and the mountains look very distant.

You deserve a rest.

Thumbs up

Lovley painting. I haven't seen the earlier version but this is great.
I really like the trees and the distant mountains.

I agree with everyone else's assessment. This has turned out very well indeed. I especially like the way you've handled the grasses. You've gotten so much texture and variation without looking blotchy or flat. Wish I could manage to do that!
