"Lupus"

24" x 36" oil..........(for my wife)
This is an abstract representation of the physical restraints of "Systemic lupus erythematosus ", a chronic autoimmune connective tissue disease that can affect any part of the body.

I know someone with Lupus and I think this is a very good capture of the emotions and constraints that can surround a life living with this condition.
