A bit of a materials disaster I'm afraid! This is on a piece of matboard my g'kids gave me 9 X 15, but you aren't seeing the far right few inches of clouds (didn't fit in the scanner and my batteries are dead). As soon as I started painting the sky, the matboard started pilling - maybe used too much water? Did this with gouache at Mom's yesterday and fixed it up a little at home with a bit of white acrylic and a pastel pencil on the roof bit. Looooong story for such a disaster! Hey, I could lie and say it looks better in person, but it doesn't! Laugh if you want to - might be its best and highest use!

Didn't turn out too bad for a disaster! That cat sure looks like he's concentrating hard!

Hey, whilst I am here -does anyone know where to get the Pelikan Chinese white in the tube that comes with the gouache set? Mine is all gone and I can't find it anywhere. Thanks!

Google Pelikan or call them. They should be able to tell you if it's availabe separately; otherwise, just order one tube of Chinese white gouache next time you order from Blick or Jerry's. Art stores should have it, and Staples may.
I like your kitty. He looks solidly planted on the roof overlooking all. It came out better than mine, which I'm trying to revivew with pastels. If it shows a sign of life, I'll post it.
