I think the sky looks stunning, but the mountains look a bit unfinished - maybe you intended that.

Betsy..ty and yes, I like those colors too.
Kathryn, the photo was taken right from my front door, but remember, to me the ref pic is just an idea and has little relation to the finished painting. Also the mountains in the foreground are actually local hills with houses. It was the sky I was after.
