Wellsville Red Barn

This was painted plein air in spring 2006. It is 20x24 oil on stretched canvas.

Beautiful scene and nice handling of it, Sean. If you'd like a suggestion, I think the mountains in the background should shift hue on the left, so they would seem to recede in the distance to the left, it would enhance the atmospheric effect the same way that the two closer hills do. The path on the left also seems a little predictable, because it has the same angle and a similar color as the roof of the barn. Thanks for posting. -- Marcio
