Fish Photo

I've been trying to post this photo for two weeks with no luck and a lot of frustration! I've been making beads for more than 3 years and this is my first fish.

Here goes...thanks for your help

Very nice fishy form and I love the colors! How did you get those grooves in the tail/fins? And congrats on figuring out how to post a picture ... I haven't attempted yet (nothing to post but my "first try" beads).

Thanks for posting - I love to look at everyone's work!

Cheers,
Mary

Beautiful! Hey, that looks like the handpulled powder pink. Great use of it. Love the eye!

Hi Linda,
Welcome to WC! I love the fish bead. Miss Kate took the words right outta my mouth...here fishy, fishy, fishy!

Here's a little song we (my kids and I, hubbys not a team player!) sing to our Bettas at night while we're feeding them.

"hey little fishy in the deep blue sea, hey little fishy is a lookin at me" They look right at ya when you feed them!

Sorry, I rambled a little...
Misty

Hi Everyone!

Thank you for your kind comments. This is my absolute first photo post and I was a bit nervous. It's different than ebay - you are all my peers and I appreciate your words.

The grooves in the fish tale are made using tweezers. Just the basic set I got years ago. They're a little warped and burnt but they still work well. I pulled the glass into shape and left the marks.

Also, the color is the powder pink and one of the basic pastel pinks though I don't know which one. I'm really loving the powder pink these days and it seems all my beads have some in it.

I will try to post another photo soon...I love the pictures here! It doesn't seem to work from my home mac, I have to go to the dance studio and use the dreaded pc!

That is one great fish. I love the color. It is perfect in form, the thin parts are well done. I would love to be able to do that! CC
