Shaun, I like the movement of the hard lines contrasting with the soft colors.
I think both formats work. The vertical one almost reminds me of a pathway with overhanging trees. In the horizontal one I get a strong sense of a downward thrust as if the structures are collapsing but the pink structure on the right is supporting it all and holding it together(good tension). This is just my interpretation. Great work!

I really like the last 2 of the 3, they have strong and interesting brush work and greater variations from light to dark. These are really nice.
