Love is in the Air - FINISHED

Another WIP. I seem to like doing WIPs as it keeps me motivated.

25X30 inches, Stonehenge and FC Polys and my little blender brush
Not a lot to see but it is a start

Re: Love is in the Air - WIP

Are you going to tell us what it is going to be, or are you going to surprise us as you reveal each piece? The grass/reeds look to be a pretty good start.

Re: Love is in the Air - WIP

Hi Char, I cannot go much bigger than this due to constraints of where I draw unless something drastic happens like a new house or adding a new room for my art. And then I have a cat that loves to chew paper so I cannot leave it unattended.

Hello lpb my little blender brush is a stiff bristle brush that has been cut. I love it and use it to push the pigment into the crevices of the paper and to blend colours together.

Flame, thanks for the visit to the thread. I know if you look closely, you can see the pencil marks and that gives the game away. Oh well. Thanks for the compliment.

You have a remarkable touch! So fluid.
I'm looking forward to seeing this one evolve.

Re: Love is in the Air - WIP

Really nice leaves - I think I know also and am getting ready to do something similiar from my own photo. Anyhow, the little blender brush - do you use it after every layer? and is it as stiff as a stencil brush? I mainly work on the smooth side of MT Canson paper and wonder if it would work the same.

Thanks for the info.

Great start on the reeds. Can't wait to see you progress to the water fowl.
