And these belong to who?

OK, no prizes for guessing where I got my inspiration from. Tried out something that I have been thinking about for a couple of days. I have some gesso with pumice that I was using to prime my watercolour paper to use pastels on so I thought "why not use it to texture my acrylics". So here it is........
Acrylic on watercolour paper.
I used alot of techniques, one of which was dry brushing, and alot of it, I was so happy with the results I got from it.
I hope you guys like it too..........

PS-scan doesnt do it justice Im affraid.......(not that I am boasting but I am very very happy with this one)

This is the best that I could do with detail brush work.

Wow Slowdown....this is just fabulous!! The texture is marvelous. You're taking to this acrylic painting just like you did the pastels!! Let's see more!!!

As always a big thanks KarenU, and thank you too artchic for your kind words, I am really enjoying these acrylics but my first love are those great sticks of pastel, will have to get back to them, I hear them calling...............
