That dewdrop with what looks like a snow scene reflected in it is just amazing! These photos are just wonderful! Thanks so much for sharing them!

Re: Photographs of Spring flowers

Hi Lea51 and Ranunkel,

Lea51 It's not really a dewdrop, I had to splash water onto the leaf, where-ever it pools, shoot, not much control over where the water ends up, it's like mercury, something to do with the leaf construction.

Glad you like them Ranunkel, there's certainly a lot of flowers around which makes it easier.

Hope you all Have a nice year

Re: Photographs of Spring flowers

I am just drooling over these shots and so glad your sharing them with us. I see so many that I want to use but where to start where to start. I am wondering if you might have a shot of the total lotus flower , dried pod with seeds showing and leaves or did I miss it in ths collection? I do see some with these in it but wondered about the tail end of the flower pod. Sorry dont mean to be picky and if so just ignore me. I just cant get over these shots and wish there were places to get some here. Winter is the pits right now.

Re: Photographs of Spring flowers

Hi All,
Glad you like the Lotus and Lilies.
Laurie, The Lotus shots are from this season which has only reciently started, not many dried pods at the moment, here are a few from last year, some were posted in RIL.
Do you want leaves on the water or standing tall above the water?

I will be taking more of these this seasons flowers and pods, I like the unusual forms.
