A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who helped to make this such a successful project!

A special hug for ((( Rod ))) and his work behind the scenes to set up web pages and to document all the progress and final submissions.

I know I have thoroughly enjoyed the way others have interpreted the Cafe Guerbois...this was a great idea! Please enjoy the exhibit in the Cafe!!! If you are one of the artists who began this project, please continue and submit your final so that we can add it to the gallery and present everyone with their gold stars ****!

Now, its on to Pirates/Parrots and My Inner Self!!!

I came and I saw.....wonderful work.
I really liked Keri's black and white
drawing and Cindy...is that a famous painter
at your cafe?
Rod,..well you know, nice window dressing and everyone did great.
I love them all. Really.
I know, go to bed Tammy. I can shut up now.

Thumbs up

What a wonderful exhibit!

I love the enthusiastic experimenting with the unfamiliar to express the unique Cafe concept.

I don't remember all the particulars...but adored the collage. Loved the rainbow ducks...admired the non-people folk painting people...and the exhibit itself, interspacing Renoiresque with architectural, colours with muteds...

really good.

thank you every one

Participating in this project was a lot of fun and I hope to be able to do another one soon. Everyone did such a great job and it is fun to see all the interpretations. The Gallery looks great! My thanks to those who work so hard to put it all together for us.

TERRIFIC. Wish I had got my act together to participate. Tried a couple of sketches, but never made it to the watercolor paper or canvas. Love Deborah's "Waiting to Chat".

A reminder to everyone who did begin a painting depicting the Cafe Guerbois Virtual Cafe....it is never too late to send a painting in and have it hung in our virtual gallery! We would love to see more ideas from everyone!

A note of congratulation to Ruth Cox who did indeed, complete her painting! Ruth, you will be listed with the others highlighted on the front door to the gallery since you had already sent in progress reports on your work! And the gold stars will be awarded for all work completed!

Thank you again to everyone for making this such a fun project!

I did do one (Cafe Gerbois)(says Sue holding up her hand),it is on a full sheet of paper so I can't scan it and my camera is broken.I did it in encaustic wax...biggest I have ever done ...and I'm really pleased with my first full sheet encaustic effort. Will get a friend to lend me a camera but may take a few days.

Thanks Carly ! I hope I can get a gold star for this one. It's nice when your work comes close to how you envisioned it. Thanks to you too Rod for the compliment and the "how to" to begin watercolor painting. The Cafe website looks great!
