Talking Colin Page Workshop..

This past Columbus day weekend I had GREAT time and learned enough to chew on for at least a year .Colin Page held a workshop in Damariscotta ME for ten lucky(and quick to sign up) painters. Day one we travelled to a working lobster and fishing dock in the beautiful town of Round Pond . The smell of salt water ,seafood ( some cooked ,some not ) all topped off with the scent of fresh oil paint on the palette in the sun. First things first if u are familiar with Colins work, he paints his demos just like the finished pieces you see on the gallery walls ,no fussing of redoing.Colin paints with a fluency that to me is the true spirit of painting and is a must see for any Painter not just pleine aire painter. I do have some photos and want to share them and talk about day 2 ,but i have to go to work and im trying to digest everything i was taught .I will post more but if u guys have any specific questions please ask and if we talked about it i will not to misqoute . THANK YOU COLIN! and also Kathy and Linda @ River Arts!!!
