Tea service WIP
Hi
I just started this today...oops...I guess I mean yesterday. I do believe I will color this one just a tad. I took this photo a long time ago and posted it for the last weekends WDE over in AMAE
11X14
so far...very rough yet... I've never done silver like this before. C&C always welcome.

Re: Tea service WIP
This is wonderful!! I can't thank you enough for opening a new avenue for me. I have painted tons of stilllifes, but I have only done a few scratchings of stilllifes. I am considering using some of my paintings as references for scratchboards. Kinda makes me nervous, you know, old dogs, new tricks.

Re: Tea service WIP
I just can't believe how easy you make doing the different textures look. One minute it's ever changing water, the next it's shiny silver. Can't wait to see how this one goes.

"OOOHHHHH I LIIIIKE SHINEY!!!!!!!" Me, too
Thank you all very much for the lovely comments and for following along!
Cathy...I used the fibre glass brush only in the brightest spot on the tea pot, the rest is done with a scalpel.
Here's an update with some closeups: I scanned these but for some reason it looks blurry to me...or maybe I've been scratching too long and need to rest my eyes!
