animal drawings with cp

Hi all, I am new at colored pencil and want so much to master drawing animals (cats and dogs, specifically) because they are such a special part of my life. I have been all over the cp library forum looking at posts to pick up tips on this and I must say I am in awe of so many talented artists AND their willingness to share knowledge on this website.

I'd love to hear from any of you who are willing to share your best tips on drawing animals with colored pencil.

I've been to Arkansas a lot to visit my husbands aunt. They lived on Beaver Lake, beautiful area. Wanda
